What to expect

Open days are your chance to feel like a student before you make the big move, they are also a great chance to get new perspectives on everything that makes us tick as an institution.

These informal days provide a great opportunity for you to see our world-class facilities, meet academic and support staff, experience our tutors in action and speak to current students about their experiences.

  • Guided tours
  • Detailed course overviews from programme leaders
  • Interactive experiences and workshops
  • Application and Accommodation Guidance
  • Intro to Student Support at dBs

How to find us

dBs Institute Manchester, New Century, Basement Level, 34 Hanover St, Manchester, M4 4AH

Travelling by car and parking

We can be easily reached by car, however there is no on-street parking by our centre. The car park linked to the Arndale Centre is a short walk away, and there are plenty of smaller car parks within walking distance of us.

Car parks near New Century.

Travelling by public transport

We’re less than a 5-minute walk from Manchester Victoria train station and a 20-minute walk from Manchester Piccadilly train station. The Manchester tram service runs from Picaddilly to Shudehill every 12-minutes and will get you to within a couple of minutes walk from our campus.

If you’re travelling by coach, e.g. National Express, we’re a 20-minute walk from the Manchester coach station.
