Meet Jacob Greenhalgh-Lee

Meet Jacob, the Student Recruitment Officer for dBs Institute of Music in Manchester.

What did you do before joining dBs?

I worked in Student Recruitment at BIMM University, recruiting for BIMM, Performers College & MetFilm.

Why did you decide to become a Student Recruitment Officer?

After completing my PGCE to teach, I taught at FE for a while and discovered a passion for supporting students with their future careers at university.

What do you love most about what you do?

I like being able to inspire young people by simply sharing and being proud of the place I work, going into colleges and breaking down the myths that it's hard to get to university. I love doing workshop days too.

Tell us about your proudest career moment?

I front a band! Probably playing Kendal Calling.

What do you get up to outside of your role at dBs?

Gigging, writing songs, table tennis, loving my cocker spaniel. I'm also an ice hockey fan!

Tell us something our students may not know about you?

My dog has more followers than Access Creative College on Instagram... love the free stuff!
