Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to bring anything?

No. Just yourself and any questions you might have.

I haven't decided which course I'm interested in yet. Is this evening still for me?

Absolutely. The evening covers all pathways and the team can help you work out which direction makes most sense for where you want to go.

Do I need any qualifications to apply?

There are no formal entry requirements beyond a GCSE in English at Grade 4/C or above. If you don't have that, we'll ask you to complete a short initial assessment instead.

I've been out of education for a while. Is this still for me?

Yes. The Access to HE Diploma is designed for people returning to education, as well as those who didn't take a traditional academic route first time around. Experience and enthusiasm matter more than prior qualifications.

Can I bring someone with me?

Yes, you're welcome to bring a guest. We just ask that anyone who is interested in a course registers seperately.

Is there parking nearby?

On-site parking isn't available. The nearest car parks are Portwall Lane Car Park or The Galleries Shopping Centre, both a short walk from the campus. There is also limited on street parking (pay and display).

How do I get here by train?

Bristol Temple Meads is the closest station, around 10-15 minutes on foot. The campus is also well served by bus routes into the city centre.
