Plymouth is where dBs started. Our campus has seven recording studios including our flagship Neve Genesys console, SSL and Dolby Atmos Mixing Suite, and seven dedicated DJ suites with Pioneer CDJs andTechnics 1210s.
Meet our fantastic tutor team include chart topping record producers with over 13 UK top 10 hits (including 6 number 1s), Pro-Tools, Apple & Ableton certified trainers, multi-instrumentalists, modular synthesis experts, sound designers and world renowned DJs/producers.
What are Access to HE Diplomas:
These one-year, full-time diplomas are for learners aged 19+ who don't currently hold the qualifications to study at degree level. Whether you're changing careers, building on what you already know, or coming back to education, you'll finish ready to progress onto our BA (Hons) degrees.
There are no formal entry requirements – you'll need GCSE English Grade 4/C or equivalent, but if you don't have that, you'll complete an initial assessment to make sure the course is right for you.

Travelling by car and parking
Our campus is located just a short distance from the centre of Plymouth and can be easily reached by car. On-street parking in the immediate area is limited to St. Andrews / Whimple Street with a maximum stay of 3 hours. There are however, many larger car parks within a 15-minute walk of the centre, which are marked on the map below.
Travelling by public transport
We’re just a 15-minute walk from Plymouth Railway station if you’re travelling by train.
If you’re arriving via coach, e.g. National Express, we’re a less than a 10-minute walk from the Plymouth coach station on Armada Way.
